Lady Gaga is eyeing a career on the big screen and plans to star in her own blockbuster.

Report state that Gaga’s movie will be a cross between Michael Jackson’s film Moonwalker, which tied together the music videos for his Bad album, and the Oscar-winning flick Dreamgirls which starred Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson. Director Bryan Singer, best known for his work on the X-Men films, is said to be interested in the project.

"Gaga is a real creative genius and is thinking about new possibilities all the time,” a source told News of the World. "She's very excited about a movie, but she wants to do it right. She wants to work with the best people in the business."

The singer was inspired to make the leap to the silver screen while on the set of her epic nine-minute video for Telephone. “Lady Gaga is a workaholic who loves pushing the boundaries. Straight music is never going to be enough for her,” the insider said. “If she isn't breaking new ground and doing new things she doesn't really feel that she is truly alive. The Telephone video was the closest thing she has done to a film and she was in her element.”

“Gaga wants to emulate what Michael Jackson did during the eighties,” they continued. “You can already see that with her music videos. Every one of them is a mini event. So it's only logical she moves that on to the big screen.”

Lady GaGa is allegedly at the centre of a bidding war to become the face of a famous tea brand.

The Sun reports that the Alejandro singer, who is known for her love of a cuppa has been offered deals by two major tea companies but is close to signing with brand Twinings.

Twinings are said to have offered Lady G a multi-million pound contract to promote their tea by putting GaGa's face on its blend.

A source told the tabloid: "Her management have received a load of offers from major tea companies but Twinings are the front-runners. They want to launch a new tea with her face on it and discussions are taking place at the top level,"

"Names like The Taste Of GaGa are being batted about. The idea is to have tasting sessions in which she would participate."

The insider added: "The tasters are coming up with a tea with an oriental flavour. They want to market tea to a new, younger generation - particularly in America - and GaGa is making drinking tea cool again."

Lady Gaga has rekindled her romance with her ex-boyfriend Luc Carl, according to a U.S. report.

The Poker Face hitmaker split up with heavy metal drummer Carl several years ago but she has recently spoken of her love for her former beau, who she credits with aiding her success.

Last month she said, “I wouldn’t have been as successful without him. I’ve never really loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him. That relationship really shaped me.”

Now Gaga appears to have gone back to her former lover – she has started dating the musician again, reports People.com.

A source tells the publication, “Gaga’s first album is entirely about their relationship and her latest song, ‘You and I,’ is about how they got back together. They’ve been in love for a while.”
