Anna Paquin has hinted True Blood will continue until at least 2015

The star has told an Australian mag how she is looking forward to spending the next five years with the hit TV show’s cast and crew.



The 28-year-old Oscar winner said: “I can’t think of a group of people that I would rather spend the next five years of my life with. It’s just a dream come true as an actor.”

But the star is still mystified as to why people are so fascinated with vampires. “Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that they’re often very sexy – and kind of dangerous,” she said.

The New Zealander also tells Famous magazine season three of the series is definitely the sexiest so far.

Anna, who is engaged to True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, added: “It’s been full of weird, kinky vampire sex from the very beginning, so I’m kind of used to it by now.”

The stars of HBO vampire drama True Blood have dismissed suggestions that Snoop Dogg will appear on the show.

The rapper previously admitted that he would like a cameo role and also released a song dedicated to lead character Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin).

However, speaking at a UK convention, Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) denied that Dogg was being lined up for a part.

"Apparently Snoop has wanted to be on the show from the beginning, but I don’t think [creator] Alan Ball is going to let that happen," he explained. "Having such a high-profile person appear in the show, I think it would take us all out of Bon Temps. [Alan] doesn't need to cast Snoop Dogg to get people to watch."

He added: "We're glad he watches and likes the show though."

Tramell's co-star Kristin Bauer (Pam Ravenscroft) agreed that casting the rapper could be damaging for the series.

"A lot of times on TV when ratings dip they go for stunt casting," she said. "It's not a good thing, and we definitely don't need that yet."

True Blood continues on Sunday at 9pm on HBO.

'Cause "True Blood's" hottest new addition, Joe Manganiello (seriously, is that body even human?!), just told us some very alarming news about upcoming deaths that you will abbbs-olutely (sorry, lost my train of thought there) want to know...

There will be blood...on "True Blood."

OK, not exactly a jaw-dropping shocker, right? Well, what if we told you this is "important" plasma being spilled?

We first spoke with director Scott Winant, who said of the current season: "The fewest actors die. I killed my share, but compared to season two, not as many."

But according to "True Blood's" new werewolf Joe Manganiello, it's the quality of the deaths, not the quantity. Translation: There are some biggies up ahead!

"Maybe the least amount, but definitely important ones," teased Joe. "There are some scripts that I read where I was shocked and went, 'No way!'"

1. Sam's real parents are doing some bad things with Tommy. Turns out Tommy has another reason to ditch his loser mom and dad; they are entering him in dog fights to earn quick cash. Will Sam come to the rescue?

2. We didn't meet Lafayette's mom and her orderly for nothing. It sounds like Mama Laf somehow gets out of the hospital and comes to her son, while Jesus may be Lafayette's sexual saving grace.

3. Jessica has got herself a love triangle. It is sort of like " Twilight," but this time the vampire is the center of it all. Jessica will have to choose between Hoyt and shape-shifting Tommy.

4. Sam becomes the bad guy. It's about time Sam does something other than bend over backwards and animorph all over the place to clean up other people's messes. Mr. Merlotte starts having dark fits of rage and alienates everyone except for Tara.

5. Our new favorite vampire is disappearing? British bloodsucker Franklin is missing from all the episode descriptions. This attractive and alarming Tara kidnapper must be up to something big if they don't even want to give us a little information about him. That, or he gets turned into dust. But let's not think about that.
